Abstract

Background: There are a number of safe and effective contraceptive methods that women can begin at various points after delivery, including those used immediately postpartum, to optimize birth spacing. There is a need to integrate postpartum contra�ception into maternal child health programs. However, implementation of integrated programs remains limited. This study aimed to examine the effect of postnatal care in improving the likelihood of contraceptive use in postpartum mothers.
