Background: Oral hygiene care is a process essential for the success of orthodontic treatment. Difficulty to clean between the teeth, lack of motivation and dietary factors are significantly associated with dental caries in patients undergoing orthodontic treatment. Since smart-phones are regularly used in these days and age, and they have been found effective to improve patient-orthodontist connection, initiation, and maintenance of behavioral change. This study aimed to examined the effect of cellular application for improving oral hygiene in orthodontic users.
